New Album Explores Life Experiences

Birmingham, AL – September 24, 2020 – Jazz artist Eric Essix is ready to share this pivotal moment of his career with jazz fans with his latest release. “Songs From The Deep” tells Eric’s story and shares his most important memories through songs.

“Songs From The Deep” is a soundtrack for long road trips and sitting on a porch reminiscing. Each track on the album is a story from Eric’s life growing up in the South. ‘”The Deep” hearkens back to Eric’s gospel influences which have been on full display throughout his career.’ The songs represent music in its purest form, with heartfelt jazz rhythms and lyrics that come from the soul. The album reunited Eric with Grammy award-winning musician Kelvin Wooten. The album is available on streaming platforms.

Eric Essix has a career spanning over 30 years and has released 25 albums. Eric’s unique sound has pushed the boundaries of contemporary jazz music.
