FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lorman, Mississippi – April 15, 2020 – Hannah Belle had years of airwave love and was fresh off her nomination for Songwriter of the Year at the 2018 Nashville Universe Awards when she had to take a step back from it all to care for her father after his cancer diagnosis. Now she’s back, recharged, and ready to get back on the saddle with her latest single “Bridesmaid.”
With heavy slide guitar fills from Steve Hinson, and a grungy rock guitar lead from Brent Mason, “Bridesmaid” brings attitude to the forefront! “It’s an anthem to all of the girls who have stood by their friend’s side time after time just waiting for their day to come,” said Hannah. “It’s definitely not a stab at anyone’s happiness, it’s just a story that doesn’t get told very often and I’m glad to be the one to tell the story because I’ve been a bridesmaid a time or two.”
Hannah’s latest single comes after one of the most emotionally draining times of her life. “Everything just kind of stopped,” the country singer recalls of hearing of her father’s illness, “he was the driving force behind my success in the industry, and when he got sick, it all came to a screeching halt.” However, after some time her father was back to his ways and encouraged his daughter to get back to music and thus, her upcoming fourth studio album and “Bridesmaid” was born.
“I felt that writing was a way of releasing what I was feeling. It was a way for me to cope, and I really think some of my best writing came during that time.”
While the date for her upcoming album is still under wraps, Hannah Belle is proud to present “Bridesmaid” as a taste of what’s to come later this year.
