Band Sets Out On Their Next Voyage After Hiatus
Malibu, CA – September 16, 2020 – The Mailbooz is excited to return to the music world after a ten-year hiatus with the release of their latest album. “QE2” is a follow up to their album the “Queen’s English” and is already on its way to success.
“QE2″ has 14 tracks of original music and one cover of The Beatles’ classic “We Can Work It Out.” The album brings back the 60s British Rock invasion that overtook the world. Each track contains fun instrumentals and heartfelt lyrics that listeners will enjoy. The first single, “RESIST” was released just before the album and is already getting airplay on the radio and online streaming platforms. ‘QE 2’ has been accepted by The Recording Academy for Grammy consideration in the categories of Best Rock Album and Best Album Packaging.
The Malibooz are a California band headed up by John Zambetti and Walter Egan (of “Magnet & Steel” fame). The group has been together since the 1960s. They released their first EP in 1964. The Mailbooz has recorded numerous albums and singles. Over 30 of their songs have appeared on film and television. The band will continue to rock the world, bringing their fun sound to fans everywhere.
