Badworse Kilgood and the Firebreathing Hellskulls
Taking you back to the golden rock days of AC/DC, Aerosmith, and Van Halen hard rock band Badworse Kilgood and the Firebreathing Hellskulls from New York are giving fans old school rock and roll while adding a new flavor of their own. I’m not saying that these guys are as legendary, but they’re well on their way to being there. It’s very refreshing to hear a band that still appreciates the old school rock where groaling and high-pitched screaming were not a fashion trend (screamo music). Instead, vocalist relied on singing their hearts out to the joy of rock and roll.

The band effortless attempt at maintaining their “new classic rock” sound has proven successful by not giving into what is popular. They are here for the music and staying true to themselves. It is clear that Hellskulls feel that rock should be pushed to its musical boundaries, never gloomy, and always hard and edgy. They are driven by a zealous force that is steady enough to maintain a perpetual flow of energy and creativity. Like the legendary rock bands before them, you can expect frantic drums, front bass lines, powerful vocals, and enough power chords to keep those aural fixations going.

Lyrically, the band is straight-forward with subjects ranging from finding yourself during a taxi ride “Taxi Ride” to love “It Doesn’t Matter” . Something that old school rock always achieved and fans always appreciated. If you miss head banging music that will leave your ears ringing check them out and see them live. They leave you breathless and astonished that such a band still exist.
