Indie World Artist Pat King Comes to America
Built upon a steely foundation of faith and personal experiences, indie world artist Pat King is making his mark on the international music scene. Already a success in his native country of Sierra Leone in Western Africa, the aspiring musician relocated to Richmond, Virginia in search of more opportunities and a chance to bring his story to America.
By utilizing cultural beats and a smooth singing voice, King creates a fascinating blend of both contemporary and old school music, blurring the lines between multiple genres. Some tracks venture into a hip hop vibe, while others are influenced directly by his native country, capable of soothing and exciting the senses. His new record Rumors of Love features seven brand new songs, including the singles “What Love Really Means to Me” and “Better Late than Never.”
