Introducing An Orange County Blues Staple: Crosscut Delux

Available For Gigs

Orange, California – January 17, 2020 – With over half a century of experience between them, the talented musicians who make up Crosscut Delux continue to deliver solid Blues throughout Orange County. Always bringing the heat, every performance is as memorable, enjoyable, and engaging as the last.

Led by the 2010 LA Music Award Entertainer of the Year, Jeffrey Hudson otherwise known as Papa J, Crosscut Delux is Orange County’s go-to Blues experience. Papa J isn’t in this alone, after meeting at an Orange County Blues Players meetup group Papa J connected with guitarist Richard Hassebrock, bassist Tommy Heinson, a legend in his own right Johnney D who handles the drums with an unmatched prowess. That was years ago and since then Crosscut Delux has been entertaining Southern California crowds with their wonderful blend of originals and covers of Blues classics.

“I want to share my love of the blues with people, and it has been an ever-growing love affair. We are part of the same family. If you have had a flat tire at 2 in the morning, you have had the blues. If you have lost a sweetheart you have had the blues. It’s a human condition.” – Papa J

With over 100 songs on their always revolving setlist, Crosscut Delux has entertained crowds everywhere from House of Blues Anaheim to the Doheny Blues Festival and beyond. They’re always ready to play so those interested in adding some Blues to either their playlists, radio shows, or next event please reach out via the information below.
