Pearly Jenkins’ Canadian Americana

Pearly Jenkins hails from the depths of Canada to bring forth his brand of Americana and the darker side of country. “Lie For You” captures the hurt of the artist. You can feel the history of the song being sung instead of just hearing it; powerful stuff. That’s due to the passion he puts forth, which makes “The Passion” a perfect song for him. Pearly picks it up with “Hell’s Fire.” This one sounds like a late night at a bar sing-along. Then he gets back to business with “One Stop Joe.” This one has a very serious overall tone to it. Somewhere Johnny Cash is happy with what Pearly Jenkins is putting out because it resonates with the man in black’s sound.
