For someone who is not so into country music, it is quite a surprise for me to have actually listened to this album. It was recommended by a friend, and I tried it out anyway. Going through it, here is what I think on each one of them

Steppin’ Down – Compared to other country music, this song of Rj Comer is catchy and has a hint of rock and roll in it. It is very up to beat and the lyrics conveys a message of getting. This song is 9 out of 10 for me.

Nightly Suicide – Nightly suicide is about a man who tends to spend a lot of time in a lounge drinking his way off sorrow and suffering. Although the singer is aware of his life choices, this is only the way that he can be able to surpass the pain he is experiencing. The message is trying to convey that there are some pains that is worth not feeling, hence, the idea of suiciding is better. My rate for the song is 8 out of 10.

Losing What You’re Losing – This is the song for those who have lost love along the way. The rhythm of the song is quite slow and sad. It is about a love that used to be sweet and happy love. Losing What You’re Losing talks about how one should act towards a love given and taken. There is no point in giving love to someone who is not doing the same for you. Aside, from it is tiring, it is like waiting for something that you’re sure won’t come. I really like this one. I rate this 10 out of 10.

The Moon Ain’t Fallen on Me Yet – The Moon represents luck and life. The emotions brought by the song is of someone who experienced life’s hard fall. The lyrics are well written. The tune is a bit emotional in a sense which actually suits the message the song is trying to convey. In total, it is a 9 out of 10 for me.

One Day – Another chance in love-this is what the song one day is all about. Hoping for the wind to flow into someone’s way. Somehow, someway, it is a song of hope to finally be with someone you love. The beat is quite catchy. It is an 8 out of 10 for me.

Ex’s & oh’s– About someone who experienced love from a girl who have taught him everything that he learned about love and experiences. The lyrics rhymes so well, that it is so easy to memorize. It reminded me on how one would portray ex’s, although they are already in the past, they already have a large part of our life that would always be hard for us to forget. This song is a 10 out of 10 for me.

Nightly Suicide album is a country type of music that is made for people who are trying to surpass the one that got away. If you want a companion on your evening struggles, this is truly the set for you. All in all, a 9 out of 10 album for me. It is one album, you wouldn’t want to miss out.
