Southern Soul with Franky

franky reviewFranky is an Atlanta artist full soul who is doing it up for the R&B scene. “Lifetime” starts off strong. The way he approaches R&B is through presenting a heavy dose of soul and power. In “Broken Glass” Franky comes through fast. What I like is that he never wastes time with hoots and whistles. He gets right to what he does best; singing wonderfully. “Lucky Me” sounds like something Ne-Yo would be slinging on the Billboard Hot 100. Last up, “Change Gone Come” takes you back to the classic days when soul was starting. You can hear some Gospel influences here and it’s clear that a spirit of grace runs through this artist’s bones.
