The New Johnny Cash?

Fredonia, Kansas Wilson County — Sunday, January 5th, 2020 — Trenton Reese, the writer of ‘Stuck In El Dorado’ has always found music to inspire and bring joy to his life. He plans to bring a similar kind of hope to the lives of his fans as his source of inspiration, Johnny Cash, did for many of his fans.

Johnny Cash, over the course of his 48-year career, relayed a message of hope and feelings of joy and happiness into the lives of many of his fans and Trenton Reese would like to deliver a very similar message to the fans of his music.

“I’ve never had it easy in life. Nothing was ever given to me and I’ve always worked for everything I have. We always lived paycheck to paycheck and it was very hard to enjoy the basic luxuries that many of our friends had but we always had our faith to keep us going.” -Trenton Reese 2019

”When writing “Stuck In El Dorado” I wanted to give joy to the men behind the bars of El Dorado Prison because despite their crimes, they’re still human beings and we must do the Christian thing and bring joy not only to their lives but to the lives of everyone who doesn’t have any joy in their lives.” – Trenton Reese 2019

Stuck In El Dorado is a modernized version centered around El Dorado Correctional Facility in El Dorado, Kansas as well as Sedgwick County, Kansas and all of the mainstream issues that occur worldwide. He says he has no intention of disrespecting the legacy left behind Johnny Cash and he says he has the utmost respect for Cash’s legacy and for the Cash family.

Trenton plans to write and record more music as 2020 progresses and he plans to piece together by the end of 2020. He hopes to start performing by mid to late 2020 to early 2021.
