David Hudson: I Got What You Want

David Hudson’s “I Got What You Want” opens with a great kickback to 70’s soul with “Honey Honey.” You’re instantly submerged in a smooth vocal delivery that takes over all the senses and lets you know, things are going to be good from this point on – and they are. That sensual take on R&B continues with “When I’m Lovin’ You” and does not stop. This song has the power to be baby making music, that’s for sure. So does “Let Me Wrap You in My Love,” but this one has more of an upbeat pace than the others. Speaking of pace, “Pump It” really takes us into a new light of what Hudson can do. This one is all about moving and grooving as you can’t help but get into the spirit of it and shake it. If you’re a fan of soul music from the 70’s and like it with a little funk every now and again, check out David Hudson’s latest, “I Got What You Want,” out now! (https://www.cdbaby.com/cd/davidhudson)
