Ke is a fresh faced artist with some soul. “The Jungle” has a familiar sound. It’s that smooth R&B flavor that comes with a modernized feel in the flow. Ke knows how to give you the lyrics on a savory plate. With “The Time Is Now,” fans get a unique track. It serves as more a place saver than one that’ll get stuck in one’s head. “From Time” starts slow but then has some surprising elements to it. In “Not Another Love Song” Ke offers up a delightful piano piece and then puts her vocals to work. All in all Ke has the base for something great, but needs to push her voice further. She has a good voice, but it can sometimes be overrun by the music. She needs to project more and she’ll have some hits on her hands.
