The Guitar Man Stan Fischer

Stan Fischer is a guitarist who uses his instrument like a well-oiled machine. The fragrant energy of “South of the Border” makes you feel like you’re in Mexico, shaking it at a local bar, drinks flowing, smiles wide. That energy is kept up as “Lovers From Beyond the Stars” comes through. With a little softer approach at the start, Stan really captures a true vibe in his playing. In “Carmelita” things take a turn. It is good, but doesn’t transport like the others, while “Rhum Boogie” gets the backside shaking a bit. When it comes to taking the guitar and making it a storyteller, Stan Fisher is the man.
