Tony Max Pulls on Heart Strings
There are a million and one artists in New York at open mic nights, so make sure to keep an ear and eye out for Tony Max. He’s a singer songwriter bringing it and making some noise along the way. “Dreams” has a clean cut sound that sounds like it’d be on AC radio alongside Lifehouse and Gavin Degraw. It’s upbeat enough but still has that maturity to it. That’s the idea that plays out in all Tony’s music, like with the acoustic ditty, “I Am Yours.” It’s a sweet track and then you have “Yours for the Taking” which slows it down but gets your heart going in the romantic sense. Then you can’t help but reach for the tissues with “No Words (In Loving Memory of Mac).” But to pick things back up and end on a happier note, “The Sun” provides some light, as does “So Gone”…just as not as much as “The Sun” did. If you’re into singer songwriters who have an honest take on music, check out Tony Max today. (https://www.reverbnation.com/tonymaxmusic)
