Two Cold: Cityscapes 2010
Two Cold’s “Cityscapes 2010” is a great experience for anyone who likes their jazz on the smooth side. “Poppin” has a very lively, yet cool feel to it and it really transports you to a good time. Then you have “Last Night” that has this more mature sexual vibe. It sounds like when two grownups find one another and romance starts, not just a random one night hoorah. You have to expect a lot of movement when you see the title “Dancin’ off the Roof” and it does not disappoint. Then you have “LSD (Lake Shore Drive” you kind of get that same urge to dance around as well. Musically, the most interesting of the bunch would have to be “Rap Sheet: The Profile” because it has this very upbeat and intricate. It was well done and all around a great time for anyone who enjoys the sweet sounds of smooth jazz in their ears.
