Verseminority Showing The World That Puerto Rico Is A Staple For Rap Music
It’s not too often we hear about rappers from Puerto Rico, that is all going to change with Verseminority. Being formed out of Queens, New York Da Sage Flow Preicse and RIN met in 2009 and worked on several projects together until deciding to officially work together. They plan on releasing their debut album “The Minority Report” sometime during 2012.
Their music at times seems harder and harder these days to find in terms of the current state of hip hop. I like to refer to this as real hip hop. I like music that takes their listeners/fans through a journey rather than a bunch of individual tracks put together just for the sake of it. Music, no matter the type of genre is supposed to tell a story. Music is so personal that if its not telling than a story then you know the musician is not a real musician. Luckily, for Verseminority this is not the case.″
The beat-making talents should come as no surprise from tracks such as “I Got This” and “Classic.” The laid back beats are very ensuring, we know that this group appreciates the origins of hip-hop but still manages to add their own flavor.
Their flows are engaging and never dull. Hopefully we get a release for the debut album soon! Till then check out their website https://www.verseminority.com/
