Jazz It Up with J Shmoove P.

Smooth Jazz is the game and J Shmoove P. is the name of the man dominating said game. “Gloria” is a smooth song with only a hit of humanistic voice. The sound of a woman’s voice can be heard, but only sounds come out – not words. It’s this sensual song that gets the mind working. Things pick up with “Carver.” This one also has a bit of a rock element tossed in there with what appears to be electronic guitars. Judging from the title, you could tell that “Turn It Up Turn It Out” was going to have a hip hop base, which it does and it brings something new to the table. From that we turn it down with “The Sands” and head back to that smooth mentality. We end things on a good, sweet note with “Running.” It rolls everything we’ve heard up and delivers a nice, closing statement for our journey through sound with J Shmoove P.
