Chaodic Records gets Seryiouz…and STONE!

Scott (aka: Schott) Marshall’s CHAODIC RECORDS inflames the game with killah Hip-Hop heavies… SERYIOUZ and native New Yorker STONE! Their plan is to make their statements plain and to address the freeze of urban life.

Newly added to their ever-growing roster of new hip-hop artists, SERYIOUZ is puttin’ the stamp on his Chicagoland experiences via his rhymes. A survivior of all the usual sh*t: from watching his older brother fighting rival gangs on the Southeast side of Chicago, to losing both family and friends to “The Game,” SERYIOUZ aims to take it all in and spew it back into the community through his unique viewpoint of how life should be.

To put it lightly, she is probably like the cutest chick I’ve ever seen. Between alternated sips of Heineken and Cabernet I managed to absorb her small set… and it was kind of like a unicorn kissing a kitten while sleeping on a rainbow. You’re probably gonna be around there anyway.) Pick up her album, “My Favorite Letter is U,” (My favorite TRACK is a track of the same name) NOW and go see her play. She’s worth a thousand hangovers and there were even face painters that came with her. My friend got balls by his face and a hitler stache but even then, with her playing in the background i was all “cuuuuute!”

How about he that blasphemously he calls himself “Jesus Christ with fake eyelashes” alone has created a massive network of a three hundred and fifty thousand scene and punk kids all over the globe; that he has almost 15 million profile views in less than a year, that he has had an enviable 13 million music listens in the past 11 months alone; that he does makeup for the Hollywood elite; and that maybe he’s more down to earth and approachable than most would think.

The heavyweight champions of dubstep are at it again, as Southern California’s The Dubstep Kings recently announced their Green Goddess Wobble 420 Tour. Hosted by the band in partnership with Hawaiian Lyon and Perish 69 Studios, the nine-date jaunt sees some of the best artists in the genre joining forces for the annual 420 celebration of peace and unity.

The all-star crew of DJs and MCs are set to hit cities throughout the West Coast, including Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe, Sacramento and San Francisco, as well as a couple shows in the Las Vegas area. Everyone will be pitching in a portion of the profits, as the tour is poised to benefit the Battered Women and Children of America.

An aggressive, octane-driven rapper and artist, Noel Vinson is hitting the music scene as V.I.T.A.L. Emcee. He hails from Long Beach, and has numerous influences ranging from Prince and Michael Jackson to Pink Floyd and Judas Priest to 2Pac and even Miles Davis. All these influences come together and meld perfectly in V.I.T.A.L. Emcee’s hit record Versus – Verses, which gained notoriety in the 2009 Grammy season for nomination for Record of the Year Award. V.I.T.A.L. Emcee was even nominated for Best New Artist that year. While that was a several years ago, V.I.T.A.L. Emcee’s sound is still fresh, varied, and original. In V.I.T.A.L. Emcee’s song “The Last Song,” he mixes several different artists together to lay a base for his mean lyrics and dope beats. The song starts with Dr. Dre’s famous intro to “Lyrical Gangbang” and then fades to V.I.T.A.L. Emcee’s laughter. Then, Richie Havens call from his famous song “Freedom” comes in and acts as a support for V.I.T.A.L. Emcee. The lyrics are great, the music distinct, and the emotion is accessible. Another great song off Versus – Verses is “Whiplash,” which uses a great use of effects and beats in order to sound different from most other musicians. It reminds me a little of 50 Cent’s work, but V.I.T.A.L. Emcee still has his own voice. And believe me, it’s loud and proud. I’m not too well versed in the world of up-and-coming rap artists, but if I had to place a bet on any of them, I’d lay my doe on V.I.T.A.L. Emcee.
