Contemporary country artist Corinne Cook’s album ‘Dressed Up For Goodbye’ is a beautiful representation of a woman’s life. Cook is successful in connecting with her audience with her heartfelt vocals and soulful, relatable lyrics. Little Miss Understanding is indeed a great start to the album. It’s energizing and made me want to sing along, out loud! The guitar solo adds a special flavor to the entire song and gives it more of a rock effect than country.

Tucker is a multi-instrumentalist and a prolific songwriter who’s played and toured with Eric Durrance on the Jason Aldean (2008 CMT Tour), Jimmy Wayne, James Otto, Ashley Cleveland, Guy Penrod, Rick Derringer, Michael Peterson and more. When he’s not indulging his love of music, Tucker indulges his passion for cars; American “muscle cars,” street rods and more. “I’m a car freak. It’s something I shared with my dad, and plan to share with my own sons,” Tucker says. He enjoys car shows and just about every car-related reality show on TV.

Get In Tune with Dr. Sean Daniels and DSD Jazz Quartet

Dr. Sean Daniels has loved music for as long as he can remember and today he puts that love into his work with the DSD Jazz Quartet. When you see “Amazing Grace,” you automatically get a sense of patriotic pride and think of boasting vocals. With their rendition though  you get this wonderfully constructed instrumental piece that’s light and airy, and sounds very metropolitan. With “Stella by Starlight” we hear some similar elements to the last, but here things are more meticulous and less carefree than the other. Lastly, “4 Those Who Feel…” we’re taken to the night. This one has a shroud of elegance to it, and makes you think of a night out at a fancy restaurant one could only dream of affording. Its decadence shines through sound. Karen Brite Shines a Light on Pop

Karen Brite’s newest video for “Go Run Wild Be Free,” showcases her vocal chops as she has this light rock sound meets melodic sound to her delivery. On top of her performance, she’s really bringing to light a message for our animal friends. The people at PETA would love this one! From the rock pop sound of that one, we hear more of a serenade with “Sweet Sweet Child.” A song perfect for the upcoming Mother’s Day, it’s about the love of a mother towards her child; one of the greatest loves on earth. Then we pick things up with “Let It Shine.” It’s a great song for the summertime. It has great energy and is familiar, so everyone can enjoy! B.U.S aka Business Unlocks Success delivers a party with every step. With T-World, B.U.S give us a great time with “Celebration.” It’s definitely a song you’d hear on a summer mixtape alongside Lil Wayne and LMFAO. That’s the variety it packs within its confines. The party don’t stop as “All We Do is Party” comes on and it takes us for a wild ride. It has these layers that include everything from industrial fixes to eletronica. In “Ready to Go” you hear a track that would fare well if MTV still tried to do something during Spring Break. Remember how great that week or two on that channel was? Jimmy Pinchak - Blue on Arrival

There’s no sophomore jinx here. Jimmy Jax Pinchak’s debut, Make It Better, proved his skills and hinted at even greater things to come. Everything sounded in place. His guitar playing ably embodied a whole host of emotions and his songwriting invoked the genre’s formulas without ever being entirely beholden to them, but his vocals remained a little raw and, perhaps, excitable. Any possible deficiencies, however, are pared away on his second album Blue on Arrival. This is definitely an arrival. The nine song set establishes Pinchak as a growing force in the genre and likely, at this point, to enjoy the same stardom enjoyed by established living icons like Joe Bonamassa. It’s a favorable comparison, but Pinchak goes one step further with a decidedly more blues rock approach on many cuts, reflected in the inclusion of instrumentation like the Hammond organ and wah wah effects on the guitar. 

Travel the World of Sounds of 420

When it comes to unexpected, 420 takes the cake. The name, I felt like it was going to be a hip hop artist that came into my ears. Then the photo told me a metal story. All were wrong. We cannot judge a book by its cover because instead of rap or rock, 420 had a voice like a Country man as “Soldier Man” came through with ease and patriotism. Then “Estacion Del Rio” took us to a new place. One constructed fully of Southwestern notes and Spanish. It was a world away from the initial track we heard, but added a layer to what 420 could deliver. We get a variety with this artist out in Arizona.
