Curtis Marc Makes His Mark

Curtis Marc is a lover who brings a twist to his R&B pop. “My Love” is a lively love song that brings in a Caribbean feel. When you listen to “Laid Back” that same island feel is there but it doesn’t overcrowd the song as a whole. You wouldn’t necessarily compare Curtis Akon, that’s to be said. While they might tour together, they’re totally different artists. “True Love” is another love song from the Florida native. Then you have “Somebody.” It’s the most dance-like track you’ll get from Curtis’ camp. While it’s still a love song, it’s one you can move to. If you like the light sounds of the island and love, and then Curtis Marc is just the artist for you. Check him out now on MTV. (https://www.mtv.com/artists/curtis-marc/)

DeShaun Duron Clean Cut Style

DeShaun Duron is an R&B artist whose voice comes across clean and personal. “Feelin Myself” has a hype beat but the lyrics come out smooth. This track produced by Luney Tunez sets the mood for the rest to come. “I Would” is a love song to through and through and it’s not a sappy one, but one of realities. “New” has good delivery. The way he kind of speeds up the chorus just a pinch makes it more interesting and dynamic. The R&B style continues on with “Being With You.” It’s a nonstop ride on the soul train with DeShaun Duron. If you like artists like D’Angelo and Ne-Yo, check out DeShaun Duron now. (https://soundcloud.com/deshaunduron)

Eugene Williams AKA Eugenegenay Gots Soul

Eugene Williams aka eugenegenay is a multi-genre artist who started young. At 5-years-old he picked up a guitar and the rest of his story wrote itself with a killer soundtrack. “I Just Wanna Be With You” is a sweet R&B track that lends itself to love. “Party Time Break” picks things up and lets loose. It has an little island feel. Listeners won’t be able to sit still when this one starts. “It’s A Hustle (Rat Race)” plays more on that same page with an upbeat, almost ’80s feel. Then Eugene Williams aka eugenegenay goes into a remix of “I Believe I Can Fly.” All the while he does his thing with instant pick me ups like “Sunny Days” and “Put Your Soul In It.” If you’re of fan of soul music from the ’70s and ’80s, check out Eugene Williams aka eugenegenay. Gary Johnson Takes You on a Musical Journey

Gary Johnson’s music speaks on many levels of emotion without saying a word. “Precious Moments” is an instrumental vacation. It’s a calm day in the winter with it’s light moments paired with the somber undertones. It’s like a peak of sun hitting the snowcapped mountain top as you sit and watch from the cabin window embraced by the warmth of your fire inside. The piano takes you there and Gary is the conductor for this joyous musical escape. If you’re into instrumental music, especially of the ivory variety, check out Gary Johnson’s “Precious Moments.” If you need more, then you’ll have to get his record “Lucid Dreams.” It includes music that is more or less like the above. Songs like “Awakening,” “Swingset” and “Dreams” are just the tip of the iceberg that is Gary Johnson. If this music appeals to you, check out both “Precious Moments” “Lucic Dreams” now. Joseph Gomez, Canada's Next Big Thing

Joseph Gomez is the next hit from Canada and this isn’t one we’ll regret later. He’s a sweet new R&B artist who’s already making waves on MTV. “Just You (Can Have My Love)” is an upbeat song that showcases the romanticism Gomez prides himself on. It sounds like a boy band song minus the usual…four other guys. “Stay With Me” follows the same steps as the previous so if you’re a fan of consistency, then you’ll never be disappointed in Joseph Gomez. Fans of pop R&B should make sure to check him out. His record is available on MTV.com and not just streaming but for free, so check it. (https://www.josephgomezonline.com)

Mackyntosh: Falling In Love

Mackyntosh’s “Falling in Love” is a record about all the aspects and realities of love done in a mature pop manner. “Murmurs” stays true to its title, that’s for sure. “When I Feel Alone” is a sweet song about not wanting to be solitary. Mackyntosh’s falsetto’s continues to be front and center in the chorus of “From a Distance.” Then you have the poppy ways of “Heart Wide Open” and the instrumental intro of “Peace of Mind” that sets up the song and doesn’t back down. “Sorry That I Wasn’t Enough” almost sounds like “Peanuts” gang when it starts…Comment if you agree. There’s not much to it but the simplicity works. If you’re into music that’s very AC but has pep, check out Mackyntosh’s “Falling in Love.” (https://play.spotify.com/album/2M5NNtxRoIPWSCOnkEfdLH)

Ria Rosae Raises the Bar

Ria Rosae is a skilled R&B artist with EP full of tracks that’ll make you feel audibly good and a few extras just because. “Changes” is a song about falling hard in love and not understanding why. It seems like one that everyone, male or female, can relate to. “Always Love You” has lighter music than the last. Sounding like a spring day, this one continues to showcase the soul in Ria’s voice. Things get super for “Superwoman,” while she keeps it real with “Along Tonight.” It takes a line from Jay Z, but remains one of the best from this up and coming R&B talent. Then she ups the game with a cover of The Fugees’ “Ready or Not.” If you’re into the vocal stylings of Monica and Mary J. Blige, check out Ria Rosae.  (https://dreamzintogoals.com/artist/riarosae/)
