Serothia I AM is an R&B artist who takes her race seriously and wants to shine a light on the discrimination that’s out that, and do something about it with her music. “Love N Pain” hooks you in with the vocals. She then gets timely with “Unity: A Trayvon Martin Tribute.” It’s relevant still, even after more than a year that tragedy is still on the minds of many and it’s nice to hear he has not been forgotten. She preaches beautifully with “Truth” as it’s a message to her people. A spoken word start grabs you an in instant and makes you think. Michael Vincent Falco is a story fit for the stages of one of those singing shows. He’s a country boy from Texas who is currently in the Coast Guard and on top of that – he can carry a tune like a champ. “Fearless” is a pretty song that really relies on the way it’s delivered. The way the vocals are constructed and play out makes the song an interesting and joyful listen. That same pattern comes through with “One Way Ticket” after a long musical intro.
