Darryl Reese has some phat beats and awesome songs that will have you creaming yourself before the first thirty seconds. He has a clear understanding of writing music and makes his splash in the music scene with R&B and hip-hop music.

“Southern Belle” has a masterfully written acoustic guitar bit that is a softly plucked, melodic piece that goes throughout the entire song. He sings about a beautiful woman that’s hard to find. The lyrics are so heart felt and filled with emotion that you just can’t help but sing along with him. “Give It A Try” is an acoustic ballad that really shows off Darryl Reese’s talents as a musician. The guitar is excellent, his lyrics are great, and the doubling of his voice adds a great harmonizing sensation. This one really reminds me of something John Legend would make, especially once the beat comes in.

Do you want some fun, childish, but all around good rock and roll and folk music? Bill Crosby has formed in the Nashville, TN scene with some great work under his belt. He has three albums’ worth of music, and though the songs may seem kid related, they all display the unique and colorful imagination of a talented musician. The three albums are titled Boomerang Orangutan, The Peanut Butter Fish, and I Have A Pet Snail respectively. Bill Crosby’s songs have a distinct sense of humor about them, as well, that I find particularly charming. With song titles like Jamaican Bacon, No Sponges, and Dust Bunny, it is obvious that Bill Crosby has fun with his music and intends for his audience to have fun, as well.

With a fiery youthful edge and grungy, gritty distortion, Texas’ Closed Campus is an up and coming act continuing to build on their pop punk roots. Influenced by iconic groups such as Green Day, The Offspring and Sum 41, the three piece outfit pumps out a thrilling blend of rock and punk with a fresh, inspired attitude.

There’s a lot of underlying meaning to Papa Don’s music. He has made numerous albums that have nothing but the best quality in terms of production and lyrics. As soon as he released his EP “On The Rise” in July 2008, he immediately made his capabilities known as both an MC/Producer. Due to this Papa Don has set the bar pretty high for himself, but every song, EP, and album after that he sets the bar even higher. On his newest album “This Is The Life” Papa Don created one of most successful recordings as he used this album to inspire people all over the world.

Skyhawk Drive, the five piece band rock alternative band from Pennsylvania has been working hard since 2009 to make it big the competitive alternative genre. With the rise in social media websites like youtube and reverbnation allowing anyone with a camera to upload their music, it has created a domino effect where there is too much music and the talented musicians often get put aside due to the youtube superstars. Fortunately, Skyhawk Driven were able to release their second album through Skies Fall Records enabling them to have the resources to rise above all others in promoting and producing their music.

Rock-Country band The Dukes of Glynn from Brunswick, GA compose of; Randy (guitar and vox), Noel (guitar,bass,vox), Preacher (guitar,bass,vox), Lee (drums,vox), and Vince (drums). They haven’t released an album together as of now they’re a group of friends that make music together and seeing where it takes them.

The opening guitar riff to “Blood On A Shovel” is mind opening. And don’t worry the riffs continue through out the song. The subject matter is rather dark and sinister with some nostalgia value as the lead vocalist sings “just searching to save my soul from this old heart full of ache now the old boots that i’m treadin’ in are caked with mud and the souls worn thin but i hear a lonesome whistle from a long,black train.” The drum driven track “Fire Women” is less intense and more rocks favorite subject, women. The drums show no mercy with its crazy timing and abrasive pattern. The lyrics are wild too “she ’ll take you up and bring you down she’ll spread her love stink around this town from the depths of hell with eyes a-flame she’s a prom queen and a dancer and if you hold her, you’ll feel her cancer .” The change in tone of vox is also suitable, instead of a high-mid tone, the vocals are deep and will send chills down your spine.
